About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – 1st Shift to join a growing fulfillment operations team in Atlanta, Georgia. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving performance, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance across fulfillment operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for developing teams, enhancing customer experience, improving order accuracy, and implementing best practices throughout warehouse and fulfillment processes. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve efficiency, engagement, and results.

Schedule

  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursday – Monday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Summary

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily fulfillment operations, drive key performance indicators (KPIs), and foster a safe, productive, and engaged work environment. You will work cross-functionally with Human Resources, Supply Chain, Food Safety, and Transportation teams to ensure operational goals are achieved while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Own and manage fulfillment KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement improvements to operational performance.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop frontline leaders and team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Supply Chain, Food Safety, and Transportation teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, order accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a comparable leadership role within manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment operations.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as NetSuite or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience operating within an automated warehouse or pick environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience implementing Lean methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, and other process improvement tools.

Preferred

  • Food & Beverage manufacturing or fulfillment experience.
  • Experience supporting or launching a new facility, distribution center, or warehouse operation.
