Job description

SUMMARY
The Production Supervisor ensures that production of products meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards. The position has oversight of the day to day operations, including operating personnel, maintenance, safety and quality control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate production scheduling with Operations Manager.
Schedule personnel for plant operations.
Communicate with lab for quality control.
Ensure monthly stock accounting/inventory is within specifications directed by operations manager
Production personnel discipline.
Oversight and direction of plant maintenance personnel and activities

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate preferred. Five years related experience or equivalent combination of training and work experience required. Must be able to read and understand technical manuals and knowledge of plant operations. Must be able to supervise personnel and communicate well with other supervisory personnel. Must be willing to take call at all times.
