Your work directly impacts service reliability, team performance, and regulatory compliance every single day. If this role is done well, customers donโ€™t have to think about us, they just trust us.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Youโ€™ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our service center, including the yard, fleet, and field activity, while partnering closely with the General Manager to improve performance across safety, customer experience, and efficiency.

Youโ€™ll coordinate routing and dispatch, maintain equipment and facilities, lead safety compliance efforts, and support hiring and development of team members.

  • All safety certifications, trainings, and compliance requirements are current, tracked, and consistently enforced

  • Team members understand expectations, receive regular feedback, and know how their work connects to broader goals
What Youโ€™ll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days
  • Shadow drivers and operations staff to understand routing, delivery workflows, and customer expectations
  • Audit safety procedures, certifications, and equipment to identify any compliance risks or gaps
  • Review current routing plans and dispatch processes to spot inefficiencies or quick wins
  • Build relationships with the team and begin participating in hiring, onboarding, and coaching conversations
Must Have
  • Experience overseeing operations in propane, energy, logistics, or a closely related field
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards, ideally involving hazardous materials
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team and improving operational performance
  • Ability to manage routing, dispatch, or fleet operations
  • Strong communication skills to work across drivers, leadership, and customers
Nice to Have
  • Experience specifically in propane operations
  • Background in route optimization tools or fleet management systems
  • Experience supporting sales or customer retention efforts
  • Experience conducting safety training or certification programs
  • Track record of improving asset utilization or operational efficiency

This role splits time between the office, yard, and field. Youโ€™ll regularly be outside inspecting equipment, supporting operations, and working alongside the team in real conditions (including weather and active service environments).

  • $50,000 Basic Life/AD&D
  • Long-term disability
