Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Cafe Manager to join our HUB Cafe Group 2 team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working 6:00AM-4:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Day to day management and operation of the HUB. Ensures staff, inventory, and profitability are optimized.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with research and development of innovative and engaging materials, programs, trainings and resources that adhere to this connection
* Provides positive leadership to all direct reports, encouraging a team approach, professional attitude and relationships, always modeling best practices in this regard
* Provide on-going instruction, education, guidance, coaching and support for HUB staff and facilities
* Collaborate with the Operations Manager and staff for the overall maturation and growth of the HUB at current and future locations
* Development of the HUB's internal processes and staff development training and quality assurance programs in current and all future locations
* Weekly/Monthly meetings, as necessary, with leadership team members to discuss development of the HUB
* Train, motivate and develop HUB staff to create brand consistency across all HUB locations
* Collaborate with the HUB staff and Operations Manager to create the vision and strategies for developing, communicating, and implementing the customer experience; manage the processes and tactics to implement the vision
* Conduct monthly meetings with HUB team providing constructive feedback and direction for brand consistency
* Report to management the progress of staff at each location and address any upcoming needs
* Day-to-day operations of the café including but not limited to ordering inventory items, overseeing consistency/quality of meals produced, collaborating on menu production and staff oversight
* Oversee and implement the standard operating procedures in place at the HUB to guarantee a safe work environment and top-notch customer experience
* End of day sales reports, as well as the reporting and depositing of money
* Assists with forecasting future budgeting and staffing needs based upon past expenses and income based on sales reports, past purchasing and other reports available in our back of house inventory/sales platform
* Assists with understanding and implementing departmental objectives, standards, guidelines and budgets to maximize the revenues at the facility level
* Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
* Assists with creating daily, monthly and quarterly sales revenue reports through Excel spreadsheets and various revenue reporting systems at facility level for reporting P/L for assigned operation(s)
* Work with all managerial software including but not limited to EaTec, StreamIT, OnBase and Kronos
* Coordinate Vendor set- ups on formal training of sales, logos, and product displays of new items or promotional items for staff to enhance sales of merchandise
* Assists with managing overall employee development, and job performance including but not limited to employee scheduling, approving time off requests, approving weekly timecards, annual evaluations, and performance management
* Ensure that all health codes and guidelines are being followed and equipment is properly maintained and in working condition
* Coordinate a time for health inspector to be on-site and work with staff to ensure space is ready for review
* Assists with designing of policies and strategies which will attract customers and increase profits
* Work with UL team to create healthy food options for patrons to enjoy along with educational backing to share
* Develop the team by training, evaluating performances, and promoting career development with the goal of cultivating qualified efficient staff to achieve a clean facility, display exemplary guest service, and salesmanship
* Monitors and approves IDP classes for assigned area
* Performs all other duties as assigned
