General Summary of Duties:

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for guiding cars onto the tunnel conveyor, lightly scrubbing the fronts and backs of vehicles, assisting guests with transactions, and ensuring that the site is kept clean to provide a delightful experience for our guests. 


Reports to: General Manager 

FLSA Status: Non- Exempt 


Physical Demands:

  • Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing. 
  • Work outside in varying weather conditions.
  • Standing for long periods of time during shift.
  • Having a sense of urgency while maintaining a friendly & courteous attitude.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Safely loading vehicles onto the car wash conveyor.
  • Cleaning the tunnel and equipment.

Maintenance Lead Responsibilities:

  • Must complete all online trainings, pass the online test, and complete in-person training per merit. 
  • Must remain up-to-date on applicable trainings pertaining to their tier and associated trainings as new trainings are launched or updated. 
  • Responsible for the cleaning and organization of the backroom of the car wash, including but not limited to tools, work bench, spare parts, chemical organization, and overall cleaning. 
  • Responsible for all the equipment Preventive Maintenance, including but not limited to greasing bearings, oil changes, belt replacements, filter cleanings, and other items on the PM Checklist.
  • Must ensure proper tension and smooth operation of the conveyor by conducting proper conveyor checks. 
  • Responsible for keeping checklists and work orders on MaintainX up-to-date with accurate information pertaining to any PM or repair work orders.
  • Responsible for completing minor repairs such as bearings, shocks, spindles, oil changes, solenoids and valves 
  • Responsible for some of the larger repairs with or without a Maintenance Technician if needed, such as wrap replacement, assisting with blowers, Top Brush Repair, and other maintenance items. 
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours before a site opens or after a site closes. 

Job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. Every employee is required to remain updated on company policies and affairs through appropriate sources, such as the internal employee website.
