Job description


  • Lead key strategic projects across the business

  • Work cross-functionally to implement solutions, troubleshoot problems and monitor strategic initiatives

  • Create and manage project programs and plans with critical paths, task dependencies, risk and issue mitigation processes, and major milestones

  • Work with business process owners to identify and scope opportunities

  • Scope, manage and implement projects to meet business needs

  • Lead project execution for internal departments and external clients

  • Provide direction and guidance to project teams

  • Communicate project requirements to internal and external stakeholders

  • Build relationships and collaborations with senior leadership to support company goals

  • Develop customer presentations illustrating solution components and value propositions

  • Support other project managers and project team members as needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics

  • Lean or Six Sigma experience

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport

  • Familiarity and ability to comply with TSA security procedures

  • Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required

  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification and/or PMP preferred

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience in a customer-facing role preferred

  • Microsoft Project experience preferred
