This position is for a General Manager in Training. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older for this position.
*If you do not have previous General Manager experience, please consider applying for the Department Manager, Shift Leader, Maintenance, or Crew position.

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job! The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant's goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.
To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager doesn't work alone. They lead a team of Department Managers that have specific responsibilities in the restaurant. This means helping the Department Managers to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their Departments. The General Manager role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you'll:
• Lead the experience: Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience and direct crew and manager responsibilities
• Plan for success: Proactively lead and manage all People processes including but not limited to: Recruiting, Hiring, Onboarding, Performance Management, Training, coaching and motivating!
• Be in the know: Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs
• Take action first: Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald's standards of excellence
• Inspire and Empower: Maintain high level of standard for guest and employee safety
