Compensation & Benefits: Hourly position (40-45 hr/week)

  • Pay: $14/hour starting pay during training process. Time-and-a-half earnings start over 40 hours on the clock. Increases to $15/hour when offered the Shift Manager position once training is completed. (tips are distributed along with bi-weekly direct deposits).
  • Flexible Payouts: Bi-weekly direct deposit, with an option to sign up for daily pay via a Branch Card after your first paycheck.
  • Shift Meals: Free regular-sized meal on all management shifts or shifts longer than 8 hours

What You'll Do (Core Leadership Development):

  • Operational Mastery: Gain hands-on experience achieving 100% memorization of the menu and makeline. Execute daily meat and cheese slicing and take ownership of baking perfect bread.
  • Team Management & Training: Actively manage shift labor to meet store goals, train new and existing staff on proper procedures, and hold staff accountable for our business-casual dress code and workplace policies.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Learn to flawlessly execute all Compliance Metrix procedures. Perform and log accurate temperature checks every 3 hours to ensure food safety standards are impeccably met.
  • Customer Experience: Drive a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for our guests, step in to resolve any customer concerns, and ensure orders are executed flawlessly.
  • Additional Leadership Duties: Build your repertoire by learning to oversee shift cash handling (register audits, safe management), execute detailed opening/closing checklists, and manage inventory and truck orders.
  • Lead by Example: Set the highest standard in the store for pace, precision, and professionalism. You are the benchmark for the in-shop and driver team.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Availability: Open availability is highly preferred to support store needs across various dayparts, including opening, midday, and closing shifts.
  • Scheduling: Leaders must be fully accountable for their shifts and proactive in managing the team's floor positioning. Schedules are managed conveniently through the 7shifts online platform.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous leadership or management experience in food service, fast-paced execution, or customer-facing roles is heavily preferred.
  • Physical: Must be able to lift items up to 40 lbs. Must be able to bend, reach, move equipment, and get under equipment for cleaning and upkeep.
  • Workplace Policy: To maintain our fast and focused environment, the use of personal phones, headphones, ear-pods, tobacco products, vapes, and cigarettes is strictly prohibited while on the clock. Leaders are expected to enforce this with zero exceptions.
