Assistant/Associate/Full Professor positions, Kelley School of Business (Operations and Decision Technologies, Operations Management)

Position Summary: The Operations and Decision Technologies Department of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University – Bloomington invites applicants for multiple tenured/tenure-track positions in Operations Management to begin fall 2027. We welcome applications from individuals with research interests in the broad domains of Operations Management including healthcare operations, supply chains, business analytics, service operations, humanitarian operations, social responsibility operations, revenue management, and more. The likely teaching responsibilities involve operations management, supply chains, applications of AI in OM, data analysis and quantitative methods. Teaching requirements may include undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level classes.

Basic Qualifications

A doctoral degree (or near completion in the case of the Assistant rank) in Operations Management or related field is required. While the positions are open rank, pre‑tenure candidates are preferred.

Candidate Interview

Faculty will be available to meet with candidates attending the INFORMS conference in San Francisco, CA; applicants not attending INFORMS will also be considered.

Application Deadline

Complete applications should be received by October 15, 2026. The search will continue until the positions are filled. Desired start date: August 1, 2027.
