Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Senior Clinical Operations Liaison, you will work with nursing leadership to support clinical initiatives identified at the system, entity, and department levels. You will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and/or Chief Operating Officer, department directors and managers, physicians, and other hospital and system leadership using quality and process improvement methods.

  • You will coordinate efforts with department leadership to improve operational activities related to enhancing efficiencies, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and cost-effective outcomes for clinical services
  • You will collaborate with ancillary departments to develop strategic action plans that drive change and process improvements
  • You will be responsible for monitoring progress towards goals related to compliance with standard operating processes and procedures
  • You will perform periodic audits, surveys, and organizational assessments
  • You will implement, monitor, and evaluate a standard work process that promotes collaborative clinical practice and ensures professional standards of practice
  • You will collect, organize and analyze data in addition to generating and providing accurate and complete reports for management and/or regulatory agencies
  • You will attend and support key leadership committees
  • Other duties as needed
    What qualifications you will need:

    Experience

    • Experience in the Operating Room
    • Surgical Tech experience- required
    • Experience using Smart Application, Meditech, charge codes – preferred

    Education

    • Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology, or other related degree

    Licenses and Certifications

      • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
      • Current Basic Life Support certification
