Description
SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented IT System Integration Team Manager to join our team.
This will be a hybrid-remote role, requiring 2 days of onsite work in Sterling, VA per week.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Be a servant leader to a team of 10-12 system engineers, security engineers and DevOps professionals. Partner with the Senior Manager to bridge mission leadership and project teams across complex border security initiatives (biometrics, RFID, IoT, and optical character recognition).
  • Work closely with team members with varied skillset to ensure engineering, cyber and operations team to ensure full integration and synchronization of project management activities to deliver results.
  • Foster multidisciplinary collaboration across hardware, software, cyber, and operations teams, ensuring tight synchronization and continuous communication to identify and resolve blockers.
  • Act as the deployment liaison, collaborating closely with engineering, testing, and operations groups to minimize integration time and reduce service transition risks from development to production.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and cross-team dependencies, including backlog alignment, velocity monitoring, and sprint/PI synchronization to support consistent, on-time delivery of program objectives.
  • Manage ServiceNow and JIRA workflows, boards, dashboards, filters, and automation rules tailored to release operations and Agile governance.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to accelerate delivery, streamline release steps, and strengthen workflow automation.
  • Oversee deployment management, IT service management, schedule development, performance monitoring, and reporting across the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Manage the integration, implementation and operation of our customers' complex cloud environments enabling managed shared services.
  • Identify and manage risks throughout the systems engineering lifecycle by conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring potential impacts against critical mission objectives.
  • Maintain Configuration Management (CM) baselines and document configuration settings for hardware and software.
  • Synchronize security postures across Edge and Cloud/SaaS environments.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors and subcontractors to implement and deliver technology solutions.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field of study is required with a minimum of 9 years of experience (or masters equivalent).
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government-required Public Trust.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to interface with clients at all levels of their business, to include business operations, financial, technology and management.
  • Proven time management skills with a focus on delivery to the customer.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement when responding to clients and evaluating priorities with competing objective.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Agile Scrum project management skills.
  • Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience managing or leading an Agile Scrum Team in a SAFe framework.
  • Experience managing and leading a remote workforce effectively.
  • Technical working knowledge of system integration, network administration, software development, data analysis, or electrical engineering.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Gitlab, Microsoft Office Products.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
