Job description

Who are we?
Equinix is the world's digital infrastructure company®, shortening the path to connectivity to enable the innovations that enrich our work, life and planet.
A place where bold ideas are welcomed, human connection is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to shape their future.
A career at Equinix means being at the center of shaping what comes next and amplifying customer value through innovation and impact. You'll work across teams, influence key decisions, and help shape the path forward. You'll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you-because when you feel valued, you're empowered to do your best work.
The VP, Head of Digital for CRO is a product-led technology executive responsible for defining and delivering the digital strategy, platforms, and operating model that power Equinix's global revenue engine. Reporting to the Chief Digital & Innovation Officer and partnering closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader serves as the primary technology and innovation partner to the CRO and owns the end-to-end digital product portfolio across the customer lifecycle, spanning Lead-to-Cash, customer success, renewals, partner ecosystem, and digital channels, with full accountability for product strategy, engineering delivery, platform operations, and business outcomes.
This executive will lead one of Equinix's most strategic transformation programs, driving revenue growth, seller productivity, customer and partner experience, and an AI-first commercial operating model. Partnering across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Revenue Operations, Product, and Business Operations, they will ensure technology, process, data, and operating models evolve together to create lasting competitive advantage. Leading high-performing teams and collaborating closely with AI, Data, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Architecture leaders, they will deliver secure, scalable, future-ready platforms that support billions of dollars in revenue and shape the next generation of Equinix's go-to-market capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Product & Engineering Leadership
  • Own the vision, strategy and execution of the digital platforms supporting the CRO organisation.

  • Lead product management, engineering and delivery teams with full accountability for business outcomes, adoption and value realization.

  • Drive simplification, platform rationalisation and engineering excellence while accelerating delivery velocity.

Executive Leadership
  • Build trusted relationships across the Executive Leadership Team and influence decisions across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Product.

  • Lead organisational change at enterprise scale, ensuring adoption and measurable business impact.

  • Build, coach and inspire a high-performing leadership team capable of operating at global scale.

Lead Enterprise Revenue Transformation
  • Lead the successful delivery of Equinix's Lead-to-Cash transformation, ensuring measurable improvements in speed, simplicity, customer experience and commercial performance.

  • Partner with the CRO leadership team to redesign the commercial operating model, simplifying processes and eliminating friction across the customer lifecycle.

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CRO, shaping business strategy rather than simply responding to technology demand.

Help drive Revenue Growth for CRO through technology
  • Improve sales productivity through AI-first workflows, automation and intelligent decision support.

  • Build the digital capabilities that enable faster bookings, lower churn, higher customer lifetime value and improved commercial efficiency.

  • Develop and execute Equinix's digital channel strategy, growing digital engagement into a major revenue channel over the coming years.

  • Build a world-class partner platform that enables partners to become an increasingly strategic growth engine for the company.

Build an AI-First Revenue Organisation
  • Reimagine how revenue teams work by embedding AI across every stage of the customer lifecycle - not simply automating existing processes but fundamentally redesigning them.

  • Partner with the Chief AI Officer to deploy predictive, generative and agentic AI capabilities that improve selling effectiveness, customer engagement, forecasting, pricing, renewals and operational efficiency.

  • Establish Equinix as an industry leader in AI-enabled commercial operations.

Innovation / Continuous Improvement
  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and operational performance.

  • Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

  • Adept at inspiring behavior change through motivating teams, planning initiatives, designating priorities, and being decisive when faced with ambiguity

  • Ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision and influence across the organization

  • Ability to be data driven, decisive, execution-focused and results-oriented to ensure strategy translates to outcomes

Leadership characteristics:
  • Product / engineering mindset with passion and experience in major transformations at a global scale across cultures, in a matrix driven org.

  • Exceptional leader who excels at driving bold and meaningful change at scale and across multiple dimensions with a heavy outcome focused mindset.
