Job description

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. (GA Intelligence), an affiliate of General Atomics, maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of War, and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class all domain and globally focused situational awareness capabilities, including THRESHER and DRAGONSPELL, that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time.

Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding.

We always want to do more, and that's where you come in. GA Intelligence is seeking an Innovation Manager to bridge our R&D efforts with the operational mission, guiding promising research projects from concept through to market adoption. This is a dual-facing role: internally, you will partner with engineering and research teams to mature R&D investments into deployable capabilities; externally, you will engage with customers and stakeholders across the Intelligence Community and Department of War to understand mission needs, identify market opportunities, and shape solutions that deliver real operational value.

The ideal candidate will possess deep familiarity with these communities and the practical experience to translate emerging technology into mission impact. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead early-stage pursuits from prototype through embedded development alongside customer operators, maturing promising concepts to the point where they convert to a contract and transition into an operating line of business * Engage potential customers and stakeholders to understand operational requirements, identify mission gaps, and shape R&D priorities accordingly * Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for emerging capabilities, including identifying early adopters, transition partners, and acquisition pathways * Deliver mission expertise to technical teams to ensure that developed solutions meet the operational needs of the user and identify new opportunities to address mission gaps * Assist with development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives and drive growth * Conduct stakeholder engagements and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities * Collaborate with software solution teams to define strategic priorities, provide input on effectiveness of software solutions for users and stakeholders, and solicit feedback from users/stakeholders on software designs * Develop and assess use cases and scenarios for solution evaluation and testing * Evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and opportunities to support business expansion * Stay abreast of industry developments to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage * Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to articulate strategic priorities, solicit feedback, and build consensus around strategic initiatives We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply. Job Qualifications * Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and fifteen or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least nine of those years in project management.

May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. * Strong understanding of the Department of War and Intelligence Community, including mission sets, acquisition processes, and operational workflows * Practical and recent experience working within or directly with the Department of War and Intelligence Community * Demonstrated experience taking R&D efforts or emerging technology from concept to operational use or market adoption * Proven track record of success in strategic planning for Intelligence and Department of War systems * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate alternatives, and develop actionable insights * Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities * Demonstrated leadership ability with a collaborative and results-oriented approach * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
