About the Role

The Director, Sponsorship Sales Operations will lead sponsorship operations, campaign management, and process improvements that help teams sell, deliver, and measure sponsorship products more effectively. This role will drive operational excellence while developing creative new sponsorship opportunities and identifying technology that supports innovation. Partnering cross-functionally, this role will improve product development, delivery, reporting, and commercial performance while leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sponsorship sales operations strategy, including process improvement, campaign management, product management, and fulfillment coordination.
  • Oversee and manage the sponsorship product management team.
  • Evaluate sponsorship packages and support in developing and pricing client pitches.
  • Explore new sponsorship products and develop creative new sponsorship opportunities.
  • Identify emerging tools and technologies to uncover new sponsorship concepts and revenue opportunities.
  • Identify ways to streamline, standardize, automate, or outsource workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Campaign Management, Fulfillment, and other teams to improve sponsorship development, pricing, delivery, and reporting.
  • Manage priorities, resources, KPIs, and project timelines across the Commercial Operations team.
  • Coach team members, communicate progress to senior stakeholders, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Requirements
  • Experience in sponsorship, sales operations, commercial operations, campaign management, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
  • People management or team leadership experience.
  • Experience improving processes, tools, workflows, and team operating models.
  • Ability to analyze performance, manage KPIs, and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $89,700 - $166,400.

Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
