We have a new ownership and leadership team focused on building upon the strong foundation established over the past three decades. Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, relationship-oriented individual to help grow and strengthen our customer base. This role is focused on developing relationships with OEMs and industrial customers, identifying fabrication opportunities, and representing Cutting Edge Fabrication professionally in the field.
This is not a high-pressure transactional sales role. We are looking for someone who understands manufacturing environments, communicates well with engineers and buyers, and can recognize opportunities where our capabilities add value.
The ideal candidate is curious, technically aware, self-driven, and comfortable visiting manufacturing facilities and customer sites. This person will work closely with company leadership and estimating to help develop strategic customer relationships and long-term opportunities.
Requirements
In this job, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Visit customer facilities and job sites regularly
  • Identify fabrication and weldment opportunities that align with company capabilities
  • Represent Cutting Edge Fabrication professionally and accurately
  • Work with estimating and operations teams to support quoting opportunities
  • Assist with customer follow-up and communication throughout the quoting process
  • Help develop target account strategies and market opportunities
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed
  • Maintain organized tracking of customer interactions and opportunities
  • Support long-term business growth initiatives
Requirements
  • Manufacturing, fabrication, machining, industrial, or related B2B sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to speak confidently with engineers, buyers, and operations personnel
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Comfortable working independently and managing customer relationships
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify customer pain points and recognize opportunities
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight as needed
  • Technical manufacturing knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Experience reading drawings or understanding fabrication processes is a plus
  • CRM or pipeline management experience is a plus
