As a Delivery Manager, you will be a driving force behind the overall performance and success of our daily operations at the Line Haul. You will manage scheduling and routing, oversee daily reporting, and support accurate on-time deliveries regardless of weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who uses data and strong interpersonal communication skills to achieve daily KPIs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure that every team member complies with all DOT and Misfits Market safety standards - at all times. This includes but is not limited to: wearing your seatbelt when the vehicle is in motion, safely exiting and entering the flow of traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and using proper lifting form. 
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization identifying areas of opportunity and implementing new processes to meet business needs. Implements best practices and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures.  
  • Develops a highly effective leadership team by applying high standards for selection and continued performance; establishes clear and stretching goals, communicates and delegates key responsibilities, and actively utilizes all performance, development, and career tools, to their full potential.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments including Inbound Logistics, FC Operations, and regional driver Hubs to ensure a cohesive and integrated supply chain. Together, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve on-time delivery and maintain a high customer approval rating. 
  • Analyze data to prepare and issue performance reports, identifying areas of improvement. Proficient in root cause analysis, with the ability to develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Build strong professional relationships with their direct reports and site HR Business Partners. Identifies and effectively communicates urgent issues, both internal and external, to site HR as needed and maintains accurate administrative records. 

You are:

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently
  • Safety-focused with strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for improved outcomes
  • Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation

You have: 

  • Previous leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
  • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulatory requirements
  • An ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently
  • Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates
  • An aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities

Nice to have:

  • Experience with or certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM or other relevant certifications
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations
  • 5+ years experience in logistics or distribution
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing or fulfillment centers
