Job Description
The University of Missouri seeks a reliable and service-oriented CSM Operations Coordinator to support the Office of Animal Resources efforts to develop and deliver care, support, and help to University clients. The successful candidate will foster and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and other lab personnel. Must have a desire to work with and care for animals on a daily basis.
Key Duties Performed By This Position Will Include
• Supporting Supervisor and OAR by managing and maintaining paperwork associated with animal housing/care.
• Intake and processing of animal health reports to coordinate veterinary care.
• Performing animal care including socializing and training of canine colonies for adoption program.
• Communicating with investigators to ensure that research needs and animal care are accommodated
• Helping to maintain census software on animals and inventory
• Assisting management with training and evaluating new animal care staff
• Assisting maintenance of facilities such as calling in work orders, ordering supplies, and cleaning/maintaining equipment.
• Helping with keeping our online animal use compliance website up to date.
• Assisting with monthly billing for animal expenses in eCompliance
• Performing compliance checks in animal rooms to maintain regulatory compliance
• Helping with animal transports and associated paperwork
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., occasional nights and weekends
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
