Revenue Operations Associate

Opendoor

Miami, FL • On-site

Job description

About Opendoor
At Opendoor our mission is to tilt the world in favor of homeowners and those who aim to become one. Homeownership matters. It's how people build wealth, stability, and community. It's how families put down roots, how neighborhoods strengthen, how the future gets built. We're building the modern system of homeownership giving people the freedom to buy and sell on their own terms. We've built an end-to-end online experience that has already helped thousands of people and we're just getting started.
About the Role
We're hiring a Revenue Operations Associate to help us run tighter operating loops across acquisition and resale. You'll work directly with the Chief Business Officer and Head of Revenue Operations to diagnose funnel performance, build analyses, run experiments, and ship AI-enabled tooling that makes our operators faster and smarter.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who is comfortable in SQL and data analysis, fluent with AI tools, and eager to build - not just report. You won't be handed a playbook; you'll help write it.
What You'll Do
Analytics & Diagnostics
  • Build and maintain dashboards that track leading and lagging indicators across the acquisition and resale funnels - conversion rates, contact cadence, lead routing, rep performance variance, and more.
  • Leverage dashboards, AI, and your critical thinking to identify, diagnose, and answer questions fast. Data exists to solve problems, not to simply name them.
  • Surface patterns and anomalies; turn data findings into clear written diagnoses and action plans. Drive outcomes; do not throw problems over the fence.

Experimentation
  • Support the design and execution of A/B tests and other controlled experiments - scoping tests, tracking instrumentation, and summarizing results in plain language.
  • Help build the infrastructure for a continuous experimentation program: logging, measurement, reporting.

AI-Native Operations
  • Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, or equivalents) to prototype automations, analyze transcripts, draft playbooks, and accelerate your own work.
  • Build AI-enabled workflows - for example lead routing logic, call summarization, anomaly alerts, rep coaching digests - and iterate until they're reliable enough to deploy.
  • Default to automation over manual process.

Process & Enablement
  • Translate findings and winning behaviors into codified playbooks, SOPs, and training materials that operators can actually use.
  • Support onboarding and adoption of internal tools and self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain clean operational documentation so institutional knowledge doesn't live in someone's head.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Partner with operating managers, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, and Product to gather context, share findings, and drive follow-through on initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely - in writing, in decks, and in meetings - with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support partnership outcomes with enterprise-grade service for implementation and subsequent volume growth.

What You'll Need
Operator Mindset
  • 2-5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, strategy, management consulting, or a founder/operator role where you wore many hats and built things yourself.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a project end-to-end: define the question, gather the data, build the analysis, and drive to a conclusion.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity; you make reasonable decisions with incomplete information and course-correct quickly.

Technical Fluency
  • SQL / data analytics proficiency - you write your own queries and know how to structure analysis for performance questions.
  • Python or similar for analytics; you've used it to clean data, automate tasks, or build lightweight tooling.
  • Experience building KPI dashboards or operational reports, ideally in a fast-moving environment.
  • Financial modeling comfort - you can build a clean model, stress-test it, and explain what it means.

AI-First Default
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to do real work: writing code, drafting documents, analyzing text, prototyping automations.
  • Bias toward building AI-enabled workflows rather than doing repetitive tasks manually.
  • Examples of using AI to go faster: automated reports you shipped, outreach you personalized at scale, workflows you built without an engineering team.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Strong written communicator - you can take a messy data finding and write a crisp paragraph that tells someone what to do about it.
  • Experience working across functions and earning trust with people who are more senior than you, by showing up with the right answers.

Location
This role is based in our Miami office and is expected to be onsite four days per week. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Chief Business Officer, the Head of Revenue Operations, and operating leaders on our acquisition, resale, and partnership (agents, homebuilders) teams.
Why This Role Matters
Every percentage point of conversion and every additional home transacted represents a real family moving forward in their life. The RevOps Associate is the person who makes sure we're measuring the right things, testing the right hypotheses, and shipping improvements fast enough to compound. If you want to see the direct impact of your work on a business that moves thousands of homes, this is the role.
