Executive Operations Associate

TEPCON Construction | Tempe, Arizona

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person
Industry: Commercial Construction
Compensation: Competitive Salary + Bonus Opportunity

Be the Person Who Keeps Everything Moving

TEPCON Construction is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Operations Associate who thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to a fast-moving environment.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the operational heartbeat of a growing construction company while helping ensure teams, priorities, and commitments stay aligned and moving forward.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, priorities, and processes while ensuring important commitments don't fall through the cracks. You will serve as a central point of coordination across multiple departments, helping teams stay aligned, informed, and focused on execution.

This is not a traditional administrative position.

We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, anticipates needs, solves problems before they become obstacles, and enjoys helping others perform at their best. Success in this role comes from your ability to create organization, maintain momentum, and ensure priorities stay on track.

If you love bringing order to complexity, building relationships across teams, and being the person everyone can rely on to keep things moving forward, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Why TEPCON?

TEPCON is an employee-owned company built on a foundation of teamwork, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement. We believe our people are our greatest asset, which is why every employee has the opportunity to share in the company's success through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Benefits & Rewards

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Medical Insurance
  • Paid Vacation
  • Paid Holidays
  • Performance-Based Bonus Program
  • Growth and Advancement Opportunities
  • Family-Oriented Culture
  • Stable, Growing Company

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate communication and priorities across operations, project management, accounting, and field teams
  • Track commitments, action items, and key initiatives to ensure timely follow-through
  • Maintain schedules, deadlines, and operational workflows
  • Assist with onboarding coordination, expense tracking, and company-wide support activities
  • Develop and maintain operational scorecards, reports, and tracking tools
  • Identify gaps, anticipate challenges, and proactively recommend solutions
  • Create consistency and accountability across multiple teams and responsibilities
  • Help ensure important priorities remain visible, organized, and moving forward

Who Will Thrive Here

You may be an excellent fit if you:

  • Enjoy creating structure and organization in dynamic environments
  • Are naturally proactive and rarely wait to be told what needs to be done
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with a wide variety of personalities
  • Have exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
  • Are comfortable holding people accountable in a respectful and professional manner
  • Enjoy supporting team success and helping others stay organized
  • Take pride in being dependable, resourceful, and solution-oriented
  • Adapt quickly when priorities shift and remain focused under pressure

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of administrative, operations, project coordination, office management, or related experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability

Why This Role Matters

This position serves as a key connection point across the company. By helping teams stay aligned, priorities stay visible, and commitments stay on track, you'll play a direct role in improving communication, efficiency, and overall operational performance.

The right person will become a trusted resource within the organization and have opportunities to grow alongside a company that values ownership, initiative, and continuous improvement.
