Join ChildServe as an Operations Assistant to provide administrative and operations support for the ChildServe - Iowa City location.
 
Schedule 
  • Monday – Friday, 10am-6pm

How You’ll Make an Impact
 
  • Deliver a welcoming and high‑quality customer service experience as the first point of contact for families and visitors.
  • Maintain children's records to include enrollments, discharges, filing and maintaining back files.
  • Verification of benefits
  • Ensure all classrooms have current and accurate child and emergency information, daily documentation forms and care plans
  • Enter child specific training into the system and provide updates to supervisor
  • Participate in development of child and staff schedules
  • Provide support for facility needs including supplies and work order requests
  • Maintain records of organizational drills
  • Responsible for greeting parents and visitors, and answering the phone
  • Other duties as assigned
 
What You’ll Need:
 
  • Preferred: High school diploma 
  • Preferred: One year of clerical/administrative work experience in the healthcare delivery or service industry required
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact as a part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to be thorough in all work with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
