Job description

We are seeking a Bilingual Operations Coordinator (Korean-English) to support communication and daily operations between Korean speaking employees, English speaking clients, vendors, and project teams. This position combines bilingual interpretation, quality control coordination, logistics support, inventory management, and administrative assistance to help ensure efficient operations across warehouse, office, and construction site environments.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working in both office and field settings while serving as the primary communication bridge between Korean and English speakers.

Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection Coordination 

  • Coordinate daily inspections with client Quality Assurance Managers (QAM), project teams, and field personnel.

  • Provide verbal translation during inspections, site coordination, and technical discussions involving welders, foremen, inspectors, and clients.

  • Assist in resolving field discrepancies by accurately communicating technical specifications.

  • Verify inspection logs, weld records, and quality documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Maintain organized quality control records and support documentation throughout project execution.

Vendor Logistics & Material Coordination 

  • Assist with material deliveries by translating between truck drivers, warehouse personnel, vendors, and site supervisors.

  • Verify delivery manifests against purchase orders and coordinate delivery locations or material returns.

  • Coordinate industrial gas orders, delivery schedules, and vendor communications.

  • Arrange equipment rentals and communicate with suppliers regarding repairs, returns, and material purchases.

Inventory Tracking & Data Management 

  • Maintain daily tool and material distribution records using Microsoft Excel.

  • Update inventory tracking spreadsheets, purchase orders, invoices, and receiving records.

  • Maintain bilingual inventory descriptions and assist with inventory accuracy and reporting.

  • Provide general administrative support, including package tracking, document preparation, and other office-related tasks.

Employee Onboarding & Operational Support 

  • Assist with onboarding Korean speaking and foreign employees by explaining company policies, work schedules, site rules, and daily procedures.

  • Serve as a bilingual resource to facilitate communication between management and field personnel.

  • Support daily operational needs to ensure effective communication across departments.

Requirements 

  • Fluent in Korean and English (speaking, reading, and writing).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Comfortable working in office, warehouse, and construction/site environments.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism while handling confidential information.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

  • Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments is preferred but not required.
