Summary:

Under the direction of the the Team Lead, the Operations Assistant will expedite direct shipments, assist with vendor pricing, and providing switchboard relief. Organize meetings and lunches, and assist with additional projects as needed.

Responsibilities of the Operations Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Expediting and calling on direct shipments
  • Calling vendors to assist in pricing large files
  • Switchboard relief
  • Set up for meetings/lunch & learns
  • Occasional additional projects and duties as needed
  • Expediting assigned customer open orders will be the main focus of the daily tasks

Qualifications of the Operation Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • 2+ years of experience in similar position
  • P21 Commerce Center experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – Especially Excel as it is used the most
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Should be aggressive and able to work independently
  • Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required
  • Good organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
