Position Overview:

The Operations Assistant will support operational initiatives across Omega Law Group's different areas of law and departments, including Pre-Litigation and Litigation. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning more about business operations, automation, dashboards, data analytics, devops and the technology that supports the backend functions of a growing law firm.


The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, and interested in learning how data and automation can be used to improve workflows and help teams visualize and understand their performance. Prior experience with legal technology, automation, or data visualization tools is not required.


Responsibilities:

  • Support operational projects and initiatives across the firm's different areas of law and departments.
  • Work with Pre-Litigation, Litigation, and other teams to understand workflows, processes, and operational needs.
  • Assist with building, maintaining, and updating dashboards and reports that help teams visualize performance and key metrics.
  • Work with operational data to identify trends, organize information, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist with automation projects designed to streamline repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency.
  • Learn and utilize tools such as Filevine, Domo, Power BI, and other reporting, automation, and data visualization platforms.
  • Assist with gathering, cleaning, organizing, and validating data used for reporting and dashboards.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and backend processes.
  • Support the implementation and testing of new processes, technology, automations, and operational tools.
  • Collaborate with team members across different departments to gather information and complete operational projects.
  • Assist with documenting workflows, procedures, and new operational processes.
  • Help maintain accurate reporting and ensure information presented through dashboards and reports is clear and useful to department leaders.
  • Provide general project and administrative support to the Operations team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interest in business operations, technology, automation, data analytics, or data visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in understanding how processes and systems work.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and large sets of information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology, software, and systems quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Filevine, Domo, Power BI, dashboards, automation tools, or similar platforms is a plus but not required.
  • Law firm or legal industry experience is a plus but not required.

This position is onsite 5 days a week at our West Hollywood Office.


Compensation Range:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
