Are you ready to take on a leadership role that keeps operations running smoothly and efficiently? Join our dynamic team as an Operations Manager on our Transit Division in Eagan and play a pivotal role in ensuring our drivers and vehicles are prepared to deliver exceptional service every day.
Schedule: 4:00am - 1:00pm, Monday through Friday (some rotating weekends)

As an Operations Manager, you'll step into a critical leadership position where no two days are the same. From overseeing driver check-ins to ensuring the garage runs like a well-oiled machine, you'll be at the heart of our operation, making impactful decisions and contributing to our success.
What You'll Do
Driver Management:
  • Ensure drivers are ready and prepared for their routes.
  • Over the road supervision - real time interaction and engagement with drivers
  • Accident response, review and resolution
  • Provide guidance and correction to drivers as needed
  • Investigate customer complaints and issues and make sound decisions on retraining, correction, etc.
  • Address and resolve tardiness, absences, and compliance issues.
Communication & Collaboration:
  • Act as the go-to contact for drivers and bridge communication with management.
  • Work closely with dispatch, maintenance teams and transit managers to resolve challenges.
Leadership & Decision-Making:
  • Make impactful decisions aligned with company policies and goals.
  • Provide guidance to dispatchers and drivers, resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and safety regulations.
Technology & Reporting:
  • Utilize dispatch software to manage operations and analyze trends.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to drive continuous improvements.
Garage Operations:
  • Assist with vehicle positioning to optimize garage efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure vehicles are service-ready.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in transportation or management is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in transportation, dispatch, or supervisory roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
    • Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office.
    • Sound decision-making and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of transportation regulations and vehicle safety standards a plus.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to obtain a class B license with Passenger endorsement (We will train you!)
