Job Purpose

Do you love the smell of fresh biscuits in the morning?Do you enjoy creating great experiences for guests and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? As a Guest Service Team Member, you will provide friendly, efficient service while helping guests enjoy high-quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you will take orders, prepare guest orders, maintain a clean dining environment, and work closely with your team to deliver excellent customer service every day.

Key Responsibilities & Job Functions

Deliver Friendly Guest Service

  • Greet every guest with a smile and acknowledge them promptly upon arrival.
  • Take customer orders quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Provide helpful menu information and answer questions about products and specials.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to recommend menu items, beverages, or add-ons that enhance the guest's meal.
  • Thank guests sincerely for their visit and invite them to return.

Process Orders and Payments

  • Enter orders into the POS system accurately to ensure correct food preparation.
  • Accept cash or other payment methods and provide accurate change.
  • Maintain attention to detail when handling transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare and Deliver Quality Orders

  • Assemble guest orders carefully, ensuring all food items, condiments, and requested service items are included.
  • Verify that every order meets quality standards before it is served to the guest.
  • Deliver orders in a timely manner while meeting designated service time goals.

Maintain a Clean and Welcoming Environment

  • Keep the sales and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
  • Clean and restock the beverage station, including cups, lids, ice, and drink supplies.
  • Wipe down dining room tables and seating areas to maintain a comfortable space for guests.
  • Clean and restock restrooms regularly to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Sweep and mop dining room and restroom floors frequently and respond quickly to spills or messes.
