Primary Duties

Apply for a position in the Performance Management Office at the College-Conservatory of Music! We’re hiring Operations and Scheduling Assistants for the upcoming academic year 

This is an ideal role for students interested in the performing arts, live events, or arts administration.

It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and offers flexible hours (including nights and weekends). 


You’ll work as part of a dynamic team in one or more of the following areas:

House Management (Evenings/Weekends)
 Assist patrons, scan tickets, distribute programs, manage volunteer ushers, and ensure the front-of-house runs smoothly. 

Stage Management (Evenings/Weekends)
Run basic lighting and sound cues, move instruments and concert equipment, and coordinate directly with performers.

Operations (Varied Shifts: Morning–Evening, 7 Days/Week)
Help open/close venues, monitor CCM buildings, set up rehearsal rooms, assist with building maintenance, and provide facility access. 

Scheduling Office (Weekdays 8:30am–4pm)
Work the front desk and assist with scheduling rehearsal spaces, answering emails, helping with recital bookings, locker inquiries, and more. .


Job Details

  • Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week
  • Shifts Available: Monday–Sunday, 8:30am–11:30pm *
    • evening/weekend availability a must.
  • Pay: $11.25/hour (new hires)
  • Schedule: Built weekly via the “Sling” app based on your availability

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school.
  • Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • “Enrollment” shall include:
    • The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled.
    • The one “off” term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment.
Physical Requirements
