Job Description for Operations Assistant 
Job Purpose
Thispositionrequiresapersontoorderandcontrolalltheadministrativeactivitiesthatsupport productioninthemanufacture of finished goods & raw material products and the  storage of personal, protective equipment.
 
The employee in this position will also facilitateandfollowupontheadministrativeoperationsnecessarytodevelopcontrolledmanufacturing,throughtheimputationsinmanufacturingorders,inventorycontrols,purchasesandacquisitions,while complyingwithestablishedstandards.
 
Job Duties
·        Manage all logs that the SQF system establishes. 
·        Manage the stocks and inventories in SAP of all the materials of the work cells, Ingredients and packaging warehouse. 
·        Control the assigned budget
·        Keep up to date with transfers and returns in SAP through the OF.
·        Update and Delivery of production program and distribution of orders. 
·        Opening and closing of manufacturing orders, validation of information delivered (supervision) vs SAP.
·        Management of process control reports.
·        Back up in production processes
·        Ensure with the different collaborators the control and proper use of the inventories of meat (MP-PT), ingredients, inputs and spare parts arranged in the plant.
·        Collaborate with functional departments to ensure the purchase of supplies, spare parts and the management of payment release for our suppliers.
 
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
 
·        KPIs communication.
·        Ensure that all reception and output of meat (MP-PT), ingredients, inputs, spare parts are documented under the SAP and SQF system.
·        Ensure the imputations of labor, machinery and materials of each manufacturing order and ensure the cancellation of erroneous or duplicate labels. 
·        Help maintain adequate meat inventories (MP-PT), ingredients, inputs and spare parts to maintain operation through duly documented requests and purchases and under company policies.
·        Buy at low cost and quality all the supplies, spare parts necessary to maintain the operation.
·        Control and take care of the use of the inputs, spare parts that the plant needs for the operation in conjunction with the other collaborators.
 
Experience
   Production supervisor of 2 years.
   SAP / ERP experience.
   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
