Job Summary:
Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking to hire a Distribution Center Operations Analyst to join their growing Analytical team. In this role, you will focus on improving labor efficiency, operational visibility, process flow, and execution consistency across various fulfillment operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reporting, and KPI visibility across inbound, outbound, inventory, and support functions
• Analyze labor utilization, productivity, throughput, backlog, SLA performance, and operational trends to support leadership decision-making
• Identify operational bottlenecks, exception trends, system gaps, and process inefficiencies
• Partner with Labor Planning & Operations Leadership to support proactive labor allocation and operational balancing
• Support root cause analysis for service failures, delayed orders, inventory discrepancies, and workflow disruptions
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on process optimization initiatives, workflow studies, and operational improvement efforts
• Develop and maintain ad hoc analysis, operational scorecards, and executive summaries
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field
• Advanced experience in data analysis, specifically related to fulfillment, distribution, or supply chain operations
• Expert knowledge in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• 2-4 + years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, or operational analytics environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to turn data into actionable items for business improvements
• Excellent attention to detail
