Administrative Assistant

ECLARO is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant in the Chicago, IL area for one of our clients. ECLARO's client is a leading provider of healthcare workforce software and solutions. If you're up to the challenge, then take a chance at this rewarding opportunity!

Position Overview:

Strong organizational and communication skills who can support departmental operations while also having an interest in academic program coordination. The long-term Clerkship Coordinator responsibilities would include supporting medical students, clerkship leadership, and faculty; coordinating schedules and educational activities; managing program documentation and communications; and assisting with the day-to-day administration of the medical school clerkship program. Experience in healthcare, higher education, academic medicine, or program coordination would be a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Meets the administrative needs of department management and staff members.
  • Coordinates department specific programs or meetings as assigned: planning, preparation of materials, implementation and evaluation.
  • Composes business documents as assigned.
  • Independently creates correspondence such as follow up to meetings, response to employees etc.
  • Plans for employees and departmental special events.
  • Writes, edits and formats content of departmental communication.
  • Maintains a calendar for staff availability and schedules.
  • Appropriately follow-ups on action between meetings.
  • Distributes reports, agendas and other materials for programs.
  • Independently make travel arrangements for the management.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Software skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, scheduling/calendar software
  • Excellent communication written and oral skills
  • Ability to produce accurate documents and reports
  • Ability to work in administrative systems

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00); Duration: 6 weeks Pay Rate: $20.66/Hour If hired, you will enjoy the following ECLARO Benefits:
