Job description

Position Summary
The Office Administrative Assistant supports warehouse operations by coordinating and processing customer orders to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. This role serves as a key link between office administration and warehouse execution, helping maintain workflow efficiency, order accuracy, and customer service standards.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
  • Process, scan, and assign customer orders to support efficient warehouse picking operations.
  • Coordinate and assign Will Call orders for timely customer pickup.
  • Prepare and process shipping manifests for outbound deliveries.
  • Perform order lookups and provide status updates as needed.
  • Process and route specialty orders, including cut and shearing requests.
  • Utilize warehouse systems and dashboards to assign orders to scanning devices (RF guns).
  • Monitor workflow queues to ensure timely order processing and prioritization.
  • Communicate with warehouse personnel to resolve order issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system records related to order processing.
  • Provide support for customer service inquiries related to order status and fulfillment.
  • Assist in maintaining organized and efficient administrative processes within the warehouse office.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.

Education
  • High School diploma preferred
Experience/Skills/Abilities Required
  • Minimum 2 years of clerical, administrative or customer service experience
  • Experience in fishing/boating industry preferred but not required
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive customer service, excellent communication and follow-up, detail oriented, motivated, self-starter with a high work ethic along with good analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to interact professionally and positively with others within the department and organization
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Office, warehouse, truck yard – moderate to loud noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
