Overview
The Planning Admin is responsible for providing administrative support to their assigned department. This position requires a detailed understanding of Microsoft Office as well as the ability to communicate effectively when dealing with other associates, supervisors, operations managers, and staff. Depending on work volume the Admin can be tasked with various tasks from other departments when needed.
Available Shift:
  • First Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities
Position Functions:
  • Provides administration support for department.
  • Coordinate administrative activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
  • Maintain and create SOPs, Training Checklists, and related documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Assure administrative functions are processed in a timely manner.
  • Support other areas as needed
  • Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
  • Use independent judgment and be self-motivated
  • Candidate MUST be detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, utilize a computer and Microsoft Office and Excell, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
  • Bring problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
  • Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position works in an office setting within a warehouse, with limited outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copy machines. Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
  • Required to sit (stationary position) at a computer workstation and/or desk for a full shift.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
  • Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel.
