Job Summary/Description:  

Troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing studio and editing equipment, and installing and maintaining computer equipment. This is a Monday-Friday position, but occasional weekend and night shifts will be necessary. We do rotate on call weekly.
• Tanium experience is a plus.
• All engineering staff are on call 24/7 in case of an emergency.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Have good People Skills to work with the other Departments and personnel, along with the ability to fix any issue on the fly. Our engineering motto is no problem too big or small for us to handle.
• Have expert knowledge regarding equipment, IT technology, systems, and be able to step in and assist in emergencies.
• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications within the station. A good knowledge of VMware is a plus.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and communication with departments regarding those regulations.
• Assist in the implementation of Capital Projects.
• Integration, maintenance, and operation of new and current equipment, including towers, transmitters, microwave, satellite, IT, and tenant installations.
• Must be able to install and remove rack equipment weighing 25-50 pounds with the help of another employee.
• Have working knowledge of the latest operating systems software, including automation, server, and desktop operating systems. Linux is a plus.

 Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of the engineering aspects of the technical facility, including studio support, post editing systems, field production support, and transmission of live / Vmix / OBS events and programs.
• A degree in IT/Broadcast engineering or a related field/experience is preferred.
