Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking a Strategy and Risk Analyst to join KLA's Digital Information Risk team. In this role, you will report to the Chief of Staff to support cybersecurity strategy planning, execution, and reporting. Join us and help safeguard KLA's data, innovation, and global operations.

    The Strategy and Risk Analyst will help drive success across all aspects of the cybersecurity strategic planning cycle. You'll partner with leaders across the business to identify risks, align business priorities, and measure performance and outcomes.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Cybersecurity Strategy & Planning

      • Coordinate across cybersecurity leadership to support the end-to-end cybersecurity strategic planning cycle, from strategy development through execution and outcomes tracking.

      • Support the Chief of Staff to conduct maturity assessments, identify gaps, and build multiyear cybersecurity roadmaps tied to risk reduction.

    • Business Operations & Governance

      • Operate the cybersecurity initiative and investment portfolio, establishing consistent processes for intake, prioritization, tracking, and reporting.

      • Coordinate with delivery teams to provide visibility into milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource constraints.

    • Financial Management & Resource Enablement

      • Coordinate with finance and procurement partners to develop, track, and manage the cybersecurity budget, including operating and investment spend.

      • Create CISO- and executive-level financial reports to monitor budget performance, forecast adjustments, and evaluate trade-offs.

      • Support vendor and investment transparency by linking spend to capabilities, initiatives, and risk outcomes.

    • Metrics, Reporting & Insights

      • Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs aligned to strategic priorities, risk reduction goals, and operational performance.

      • Design and produce CISO-ready dashboards that clearly communicate progress, issues, and impact to executive audiences.

      • Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations to inform leadership action.

    • Cross-Functional Partnership & Enablement

      • Support ongoing process improvement to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of cybersecurity operations.

      • Contribute to special initiatives and projects that advance the effectiveness, maturity, and strategic alignment of the cybersecurity organization.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.

    • Experience in project management or a related credential.

    • Ability to read, write, or speak a foreign language relevant to KLA's global footprint.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, IT Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Demonstrated ability to harness a range of security tools, applying strong critical-thinking skills, to identify risks, solve complex problems, and enhanced the organization's security posture.

    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite for data analysis, collaboration, and communication.
