About the Role


Canteen is seeking an experienced Operations Controller to lead all accounting and financial activity across the Paragould District (coffee, markets, and vending operations within this corporate dining portfolio). This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who can balance the numbers-driven precision of financial reporting with the relationship-building and coaching that keeps a District's operations running strong. What You'll Do

  • Ensure financial statements are prepared accurately, completely, and on time
  • Lead training and development for all accounting and clerical staff within the District
  • Provide financial support and guidance to operations leadership
  • Assist with new business return on investment pro-forma, including risk analysis
  • Partner with the Sector Finance team to keep operations focused on optimizing working capital
  • Take on other duties as assigned, supporting the broader financial health of the District

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of relevant financial leadership experience, including revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong concentration in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and analyses
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships across teams
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
