DSRT SURF isn’t a traditional workplace, and we’re not looking for a traditional Accounting Manager.


We’re building a fast growing hospitality and lifestyle brand where operations, guest experience, surf culture, and business performance all come together in a unique way. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, and solutions focused accounting professional who is excited to help build financial structure and operational processes from the ground up.


The Accounting Manager will lead the day to day accounting and financial operations of DSRT SURF while helping maintain organization, accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the business. This role will oversee accounting processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, vendor management, payroll coordination, and financial administration while partnering with leadership and operational departments across the property.


This role will work closely with operational leadership and ownership while helping establish strong financial organization and scalable business processes as DSRT SURF continues to grow.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily accounting and financial operations across the property
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking
  • Maintain accurate financial records, reporting, and accounting documentation
  • Coordinate payroll related processes and financial administration
  • Assist with budgeting, operational reporting, forecasting, and expense management
  • Manage vendor accounts, invoices, and financial communication with service providers
  • Oversee month end close support and accounting organization processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all financial information and reporting
  • Help establish scalable accounting systems, controls, and operational workflows
  • Collaborate with leadership to support efficient business operations and financial performance

What You Bring

  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or operational accounting experience required
  • Hospitality, resort, restaurant, or multi department operational experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent operational accounting experience may be considered in place of formal education
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast paced environments

Compensation & Benefits


Pay is commensurate with experience. This position is designated as an FLSA exempt, full-time salary role and may include employer sponsored health benefits, paid time off, surf perks, and additional company or partner related benefits based on eligibility and company offerings.

Current Work Environment


DSRT SURF is currently operating from an active construction and development site as we prepare for opening. Team members may occasionally work around construction activity, dust, noise, uneven surfaces, and changing operational environments.

Appropriate footwear and adherence to all company safety guidelines will be required while on site. Certain roles may require work boots or other safety related attire during this phase of development.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally move throughout operational and office areas as needed

Schedule Expectations


This is a full-time position. Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, or operational support shifts as needed may be required based on business needs.
