OPERATIONS MANAGER

City Wide Jani, Inc. – Chicago, IL Full-Time | Flexible Schedule Required Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (DOE) + Quarterly Performance Bonus

Position Overview:

City Wide Jani, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee service delivery, workforce performance, and operational execution across multiple commercial accounts. This role requires a disciplined leader who understands job costing, labor allocations, accountability systems, and team development. This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate brings structure, protects margins, builds strong teams, and strengthens culture throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations across multiple commercial accounts Manage job costing, labor allocations, and production efficiency Monitor profitability and control overtime Conduct site inspections and implement corrective action plans Produce operational and performance reports Track KPIs, labor hours, and service quality metrics Coach supervisors and team members for advancement Build accountability systems and reinforce company culture Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve concerns quickly Ensure OSHA, safety, and compliance standards are upheld Oversee accurate timekeeping and documentation

Qualifications:

5+ years of operations leadership experience (facility services preferred) Strong understanding of job costing and labor management Proven ability to lead multiple teams and supervisors Computer literate with the ability to generate clear reports Ability to type no less than 50 words per minute Intermediate experience using AI tools for productivity, reporting, research, and structured communication Strong task management and follow-through skills Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees for advancement

Financial awareness with understanding of P&L performance Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

Compensation & Performance Bonus:

$65,000 – $75,000 annual salary (DOE) Quarterly performance-based bonus opportunity

Bonus eligibility is tied to measurable operational results, including: Maintaining or improving gross margins across assigned accounts Effective labor allocation and overtime control Customer retention and high inspection scores Minimal service complaints and successful account renewals Reduction in employee turnover Development of supervisors and team members for advancement Support of account growth and additional service opportunities

Bonus eligibility requires meeting baseline operational standards and compliance metrics.
