Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, Saturday if needed. 8-12 hours/week.
Position Overview:
The NFL Youth Flag Football Site Supervisor is a self-motivated individual responsible for supervising activity sites and overseeing volunteer coaches for Parks & Recreation's NFL Youth Flag Football program. This role helps ensure a safe, organized, and positive playing environment for all participants.
This position runs August 26 - October 10, 2026 and requires availability on weekday evenings, twice per week, at various locations. Opportunities to work 4 weekdays and on Saturdays are available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise flag football activity sites during scheduled games and practices
  • Support and oversee volunteer coaches
  • Ensure a safe and positive playing environment for children
  • Manage equipment and team rosters at assigned sites
  • Coordinate and collect required paperwork
  • Communicate with youth/parents, community members, and assist the Recreation Specialists as needed
  • Provide excellent care and customer service to the public

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Enjoy working with children in a recreational setting
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and organized
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work weekday evenings and travel to various locations
