About the Role
The Ghoman Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Task Force Manager to provide operational leadership and support across our portfolio of Marriott-branded hotels. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to travel extensively to assist with hotel openings, staffing shortages, operational transitions, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
Marriott experience is required. The successful candidate will be flexible, hands-on, and capable of quickly integrating into hotel teams to ensure operational excellence and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned Marriott properties to provide operational leadership and support.
  • Assist hotels during management transitions, new openings, renovations, staffing shortages, and special projects.
  • Lead and support Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Coach, mentor, and train hotel associates and department leaders.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and develop action plans to improve service performance.
  • Conduct operational audits and ensure brand compliance.
  • Assist General Managers in achieving financial, operational, and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives when necessary.
  • Prepare operational reports and communicate findings to senior leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with hotel management teams and ownership.
Required Qualifications
  • Marriott hotel experience is mandatory.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or Department Head.
  • Strong knowledge of Marriott brand standards and hotel operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different hotel environments and operational needs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple hotel properties.
  • Experience with Marriott systems such as FOSSE, MGS, GXP, MARSHA, or Opera PMS is a plus.
