The Associate Director, Activation, OOH will oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of local activation campaigns including traditional and non-traditional outdoor as well as experiential and other activations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team and drive innovative solutions to meet our clients' marketing goals. You will be responsible for managing relationships with media vendors, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring that all campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Develop and lead comprehensive outdoor strategies that align with clients' marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Manage the planning process, including researching and selecting media tactics, negotiating media rates, and managing media budgets.
  • Oversee the production and execution of outdoor campaigns, including any experiential and non-traditional activations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., media planners, creative, analytics) to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and negotiate favorable rates and placements.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of media planners and buyers.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging media platforms to identify new opportunities for effective local activation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. A master's degree is a
  • plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a focus on out-of-home, preferably
  • within an advertising or media agency.
  • In-depth knowledge of the out-of-home marketplace across top DMA's
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate media strategies and
  • campaign results to internal teams and clients.
  • Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a
  • collaborative work environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable media rates and placements.
  • Familiarity with media research tools and industry trends.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for the media industry and staying up-to-date with industry trends

Benefits
The salary range per annum is: 120,000 - 135,000 USD.
