What You'll Do
45% - Planning & Negotiation
  • Develop and present strategically focused plans and recommendations, in collaboration with OOH Supervisor/Associate Director

  • Write department POVs on new opportunities and seek new trends and opportunities within the industry

  • Stewardship of OOH media plans from inception through completion including:

  • Issuing RFPs to all appropriate vendors

  • Negotiating OOH media buys

  • Providing back-up research data in support of OOH recommendations

  • Providing unit maps in support of recommendation

  • Working with Business Solutions Team to ensure plans are on strategy and meet client objectives

  • Overseeing posting of media to campaign is executed accurately and in a timely manner

  • Overseeing traffic and production process to ensure proper approvals are received and creative/materials are delivered to vendors on time

  • Participate in potential market rides when available

15% - Account Maintenance
  • Cross check plans and all supporting documents for accuracy (billing, specs, contracts, etc.)

  • Keep team updated on the status and timing of deliverables

  • Ensure client documents (decks, POP & POVs) are clear, concise and client ready

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of account/client nuances

10% - Relationship Development
  • Manage internal and external relationships; maintain and strengthen communication across Business Solutions team and vendors

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of available vendors and media formats in markets relevant to assigned client(s)

  • Attend vendor meetings and presentations, participate as an active stakeholder on behalf of your clients

  • Guide junior team members through planning process and assist with day-to-day account maintenance, if needed

  • Manage ongoing communication with senior leads, effectively relay issues and/or status updates in a timely matter

10% - Training & Development
  • Stay up to date on the OOH space and trends, maintain familiarity with vendor updates and offerings

  • Continue to advance knowledge and learn about the media industry, Horizon Media, and our clients

  • Participate in Horizon's training programs, as well as other syndicated and proprietary training sessions (i.e. Leaders Voice, Business Writing, Presentation Skills, and more)

10% - Strategy
  • Participate in strategy development and brainstorming meetings with Business Solutions team

  • Collaborate with OOH vendors to bring innovative, engaging, and creative ideas to clients

  • Educate Business Solutions on status, processes, and new developments in the OOH space

10% - Supervision & Mentorship
  • Oversee the contracting process for approved media buys to ensure adherence to process,

  • Oversee Assistant Strategist's follow-up in collecting signed ATBs, counter-signed contracts

  • Guide team in setting goals, project tasks and timelines

  • Provide education on best practices, media principles, and industry at large

  • Participate in interview process for Assistant/Planner roles

  • Proficiency working within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range
$66,300.00 - $80,000.00
A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
