This often involves submitting personal information, photos, or scanned documents through a secure web portal. Online verification is commonly used by banks, employers, and government agencies to prevent fraud and ensure that services are provided to the correct individuals. The process may include steps like email or phone verification, facial recognition, or answering security questions. It helps organizations maintain security and comply with regulations.
