To thrive as an Online Tax Specialist, you need a solid understanding of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial documentation, often supported by a degree in accounting or finance and relevant certifications like CPA or EA. Familiarity with tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, QuickBooks) and secure online communication platforms is typically required.
