Job description

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

in Fort Wayne, Indiana
 
Currently looking for qualified Registered Nurse (RN) candidates to fill 13-week contracts for a Med Surg resource pool at a great facility in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Interested candidates must have recent acute care experience, with an ability to remain calm under pressure.

2 years of recent Med Surg or acute care experience is required. Night and Day shifts are available.

As a Medical Surgical RN, you will:

  • Assist physicians and delegate to healthcare staff during procedures.
  • Organize and deliver the care of a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
  • Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
  • Provide basic, bedside care to medical-surgical patients
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ensure Patient rights and saftey.
