The Role
The Risk Management Intern will report into the Senior Director, Risk Management. This will be a paid full-time internship.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with Broker RFP process
  • Updating Risk Management database in Sharepoint
  • Assist with data analytics to support annual insurance renewals, including loss trend analysis, exposure summaries, and broker presentation materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve risk management workflows, including documentation, and data quality.
  • Review policies and procedures and assist with documentation of policies including:
    • Casualty (General Liability, Auto, Umbrella, Workers Comp, etc.)
    • Property and Stock Throughput
    • Directors & Officers and Fiduciary
    • Cyber
    • Environmental, Health and Safety

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business or Economics.
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality along with a very positive attitude and desire to provide excellent support
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
