Job Description
Activities related to college teaching and learning in the field of Psychology, including but not limited to the duties listed below:
  • Instructional planning, teaching, and evaluating associate degree students in both in-person and online courses.
  • Assessment of student learning.
  • Informal student advising.
  • Maintenance of professional skills and credentials.
  • In cooperation with department, maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes.
  • Participation in department meetings and college-wide committees.

Salary Range:
$43,067 - $98,660
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree with a major in psychology or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in psychology.

  • Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college.
  • Dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards.
  • Commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that will help students reach their education goals.
  • Experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
