As a part of the broader Apple TV Marketing Organization, our team’s purpose is to build big
word of mouth, conversation, fandoms, and love for our brand, titles, sports, and talent.
This role will drive the editorial voice and creative behind the owned Apple TV social presence.
As a social “Editor in Chief” for @appletv across platforms, this leader will define the brand's
point of view on the internet, shaping culture by commanding a social presence that drives
conversation at scale. This role is responsible for building cross functional social-first
campaigns to build massive conversation and word of mouth for Apple TV.

that spans brand storytelling, title campaigns, and live sports programming, and the
organizational authority to make bold calls quickly. You lead a social agency partnership and
hold them to the highest standard of innovation and execution. You build fandoms. You

As a senior member of the Apple TV Social Marketing team, you operate at the intersection of
brand, content, and culture, partnering with internal teams and external creative partners to
ensure @appletv is the most compelling, talked-about brands online.","responsibilities":"Own the editorial identity of Apple TV, defining the brand's social voice, creative standards, and content philosophy across all owned social channels, in highly-matrixed collaboration with creative teams
Set and evolve the creative direction for the @appletv social ecosystem, ensuring the accounts function as evolving editorial platforms to fuel social conversation and fandoms
Establish and maintain the brand's point of view across entertainment, pop culture, and sports conversations, knowing when and how to show up meaningfully and differently to break through and capture attention for Apple TV

Own the full content ecosystem for @appletv, from evergreen brand storytelling to title campaign beats to live sports moments, ensuring coherence and intentionality at every touchpoint
Lead and manage the social agency relationship, setting the vision, inspiring ambition, holding the creative bar high, and driving accountability for innovative, business-driving output
Partner closely with internal creative teams, title marketing leads, sports marketing, and international teams to ensure social strategy is deeply integrated and informed
Serve as a senior social voice in cross-functional title teams, media, and brand planning processes, bringing a sharp, informed social perspective to upstream creative decisions
Drive and define KPIs and success metrics for @appletv social channels, accountable for a clear framework that connects social output to business goals
Use social analytics, cultural listening, and platform data to continuously iterate on creative strategy, presenting new learnings and points of view proactively• Monitor platform evolution, competitor activity, and cultural shifts, bringing recommendations and a perspective on optimization before being asked
Build and present regular insights and performance narratives to senior leadership, framing social impact in terms of brand health, audience growth, and business contribution
Model a team-first, "yes, and..." culture, fostering creative ambition, psychological safety, and collective accountability
Mentor and elevate peers and junior colleagues, sharing expertise generously and holding a high bar for contribution
Partner with Apple's central Marketing and Communications teams to ensure alignment with company-wide values, brand standards, and policies

Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a demonstrable track record of building cultural moments and driving massive word of mouth for entertainment, sports, or highly consumer-centric brands
Deep subject-matter expertise across social platforms. You know what formats work, what's emerging, what's dying, and you bring a sharp, proactive point of view on how to stay ahead
A strong, instinctive editorial sensibility. You think like an Editor in Chief, you have a clear vision for brand voice, content hierarchy, and what earns attention in a crowded feed
Proven experience leading and managing agency teams, with the ability to inspire innovation, set a high creative bar, and redirect work with clarity and conviction
Extensive experience across brand storytelling, title campaign social, and live event or sports social. You understand that each requires a different posture and you move fluidly between them
Strong command of social analytics and data. You use numbers to sharpen your intuition, validate creative bets, and tell a compelling story about ROI and business impact
Exceptional communicator, presenter, and creative collaborator. You pitch with conviction, and balance humility with your confidence. You read the room expertly and bring senior leaders and external partners along on the journey
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $177,000 and $266,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
