Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 2 APPs at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg.

  • Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified nurse practitioners.
  • Prior emergency department experience and commitment to patient-first care.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule. We are always there to support each other when covering shifts.
  • Shift times are 11 a.m. โ€“ 9 p.m.
  • Full-time status is 120 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care in a 13-bed Level IV emergency department, managing a diverse range of cases with 15,500 annual visits.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists and imaging professionals, to deliver top-tier care.
  • Engage in regular monthly, remote, and in-person meetings to foster team collaboration and provide a platform for feedback and continuous improvement.
