What are the common challenges faced in an online photo tagging role and how can they be managed?

One common challenge in online photo tagging is ensuring accuracy when identifying and categorizing diverse subjects or objects, especially when images are unclear or ambiguous. Maintaining consistency in tagging according to specific guidelines can also be demanding, particularly when working with large volumes of images. To manage these challenges, it's important to familiarize yourself thoroughly with the tagging standards provided by your employer, use reference materials when unsure, and communicate with your team or supervisor if you encounter particularly difficult cases. Regular feedback and quality checks are also helpful in improving accuracy and efficiency over time.

What is online photo tagging?

Online photo tagging is the process of labeling or categorizing images by adding descriptive tags or keywords. This helps organize and easily retrieve images in databases, social media, or photo storage platforms. Tagging can involve identifying people, objects, locations, or events in a photo. Job description

Job Summary:
Player 15 Group is the sports and entertainment company behind the Phoenix Suns (NBA), Phoenix Mercury (WNBA), Valley Suns (G League), and Mortgage Matchup Center.
Headquartered in downtown Phoenix, Player 15 Group is driven by a culture built on passion, creativity, innovation, and care. Our people are at the center of everything we do, united by a shared commitment to create unforgettable memories for our fans, partners, and community.
We offer a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every team member contributes to the success of our teams, the experiences of our fans, and the impact we make throughout our community.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Player 15 Group Partnership Strategy & Service Intern to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will provide high-value support to partnership activations by assisting team members with managing activations and promotions during home games and supporting Strategy & Service representatives with account-specific needs. This role offers direct experience in client service, event execution, and cross-department collaboration, fostering a deeper understanding of partnership strategy and the skills needed to succeed in future roles.
Your role on the team:
  • Execute partnership activations on game days across the Suns, Valley Suns, and Mercury, owning client hospitality, in-arena elements, and promotional prizing from setup through delivery
  • Drive pre- and post-gameday operations, including game prep, partner photo tagging, and digital signage tracking and reporting - the details that keep a partnership running
  • Assist on drive-to-retail and enter-to-win promotions, mascot appearances, and surprise & delight moments, gaining direct experience in how partner requests are built and delivered
  • Shadow Partnership Strategy & Service representatives across the Suns and Valley Suns and apply a structured partnership framework to a real portfolio of accounts - from prep through delivery through follow-up
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments and third-party vendors on high-profile partner and department events, including player appearances, Fantasy Camps, B2B events, and VIP gameday experiences
  • Build fluency across the full partnership lifecycle, from prospecting through renewal, through a workshop series led by GPS strategists
  • Own and deliver an individual Capstone Project - stepping into a Partnership Strategy & Service role to build a real partnership recommendation and present it directly to GPS leadership
  • Represent Player 15 Group professionally in all partner-facing interactions, with reliable attendance across office hours, home games, and assigned events
  • Perform other duties as assigned (5-10%)

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting demands
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
  • Dependable and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer service instincts and professionalism in partner-facing interactions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to problem-solve on the fly
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work all home games, including evenings and weekends

Experience/ Education Requirements:
  • Enrolled in or have completed a BA/BS program, preferably in Sports Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

The Team & Experience
We believe great organizations are built by great people. That's why we foster an in-person collaborative, people-first work environment where team members feel supported, empowered, and connected. We value individuals who bring an ownership mindset, lead with initiative, and embrace an "I'll do it" mentality in support of the team and our fans.
From career growth opportunities to everyday experiences around the office, we work hard to create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
At Player 15 Group, our people-first culture is reflected in benefits and perks that may vary based on employment status and eligibility, including the following:
  • Competitive medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage options
  • Paid vacation, sick time, volunteer time and company holidays
  • 401(k) plan with Player 15 Group match
  • Team member experiences throughout the year including team offsites, catered lunches, coffee stands, ice cream trucks and more
  • Team swag throughout the year plus employee discounts at our Team Shop and online store
  • Complimentary tickets to Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and Valley Suns games, plus other local sporting events and concerts, as available
  • Access to amenities, including:
    • Full fitness center with locker rooms and showers
    • Indoor/outdoor basketball courts
    • Pickleball court
    • Golf simulator and putting green
    • On-site cafeteria and collaborative gathering spaces

Player 15 Group is committed to employing a diverse workforce. Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, or disability.
