Gaylord Intermediate School Principal

Gaylord Community Schools is seeking an exceptional school administrator with the capability to lead educators in our mission to provide a quality education that inspires students to achieve their potential and become productive citizens.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ย 
  1. Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.ย 

  2. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.ย 

  3. Michigan School Administrator Certificate or eligibility.ย 

  4. Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience.ย 

  5. Minimum of three (3) years successful building leadership experience preferred.ย 

  6. Demonstrated experience leading school improvement efforts and instructional initiatives.ย 

  7. Knowledge of MTSS, PBIS, and data-driven instructional practices.ย 

DESIRED QUALITIES
  • The desire to achieve outstanding results in a short period of time.
  • The skill to foster collective responsibility by mobilizing structure, strategies, practices, and the use of resources for the ongoing evaluation and improvement of instruction.
