Job description

Role Summary

The OTA and Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing room revenue, occupancy, and profitability across a portfolio of roughly 18 hotels through pricing strategy, inventory control, and online distribution management. The role also ensures rates, availability, and content are correctly maintained across OTAs, direct booking channels, and related systems.

Core Responsibilities

Manage pricing, rate loading, and inventory across OTAs, brand sites, and direct channels.

Monitor pickup, pace, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and channel performance daily.

Build and update forecasts, demand calendars, and pricing recommendations for each hotel.

Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, local events, seasonality, and business mix.

Optimize third-party distribution, commissions, and channel mix to improve profitability.

Coordinate with sales, reservations, operations, and marketing teams on promotions, group rates, and tactical opportunities.

Audit OTA content, room types, policies, images, restrictions, and connectivity for accuracy.

The role typically requires regular communication with each propertyโ€™s GM and reservations team, plus consistent hotel visits or business reviews.

Required Skills

Strong hotel revenue management and OTA distribution knowledge.

Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with comfort using forecasting tools.

Knowledge of PMS, CRS, channel manager, booking engine, GDS, and OTA extranets.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commercial judgment.

Good communication skills for working with ownership, GMs, sales, and reservations teams.

Experience And Education

A strong candidate has hotel revenue management, distribution experience, and multi-property experience with a background in hospitality.

Qualifications

3+ years in hotel revenue management, OTA management, or distribution.

Multi-property preferred experience.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Familiarity with hotel systems and online distribution tools.
